Children with special needs are welcomed at Minus 5 Pre-school, provided their specific needs can be catered for. The Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator will ensure support is provided so that the child has full access to the Early Years Curriculum, and will liaise closely with parents and other agencies relevant to the child. Goals and objectives will be discussed between the SENCO, parents and other professionals involved with the child and individual educational plans will be set up where relevant. The SENCO will attend all applicable lecture and training courses wherever possible.
